As a student-run, student-based organization, EMPOWER aims to improve the quality of life for the people we work with. We are privileged to gain hands-on experience with engineering design projects while empowering our challengers. In addition to design projects, our student organization provides technical resources and education to student members in preparation for post-graduation innovative work.
Through Empower, Students are albe to participate in 4 different types of projects: Formal Design Projects (FDP), Quarterly Design Projects (QDP), Lab Design Projects (LDP), and Research Projects. To learn more about the different types, check out our project page.
We provide workshops in SolidWorks, resume building, machine shop certifications, dissections, programming, and more! Come meet our technical directors and get ahead in your projects and classes.
General meetings are Tuesdays, 6-7 PM in the TECHE Lab (Engineering IV). Come see what we're up to!
Our challengers don't pay for their projects, so we run on donations and limited school funding. Any help is much appreciated!
